Fruit Salad

As a follow up to our Science Fair experiment we tested whether lemon juice would stop fruit from turning brown.  We made fruit salad as a class to test our theory.

Today we wrote Recounts.  Our Focus - using time and sequence words to retell something in order, ie. first, next, then, after.

Fruit Salad
On Friday we made fruit salad. 
First we chopped all of the fruit and the ones that were white we put lemon juice on.  Then Mrs Jones took it to the staff room and later on we got to eat it. 
It was yummy.

Fruit Salad
On Friday we made fruit salad. 
First we chopped the fruit.  Next we put them in a bowl.  After that the lemon juice helped us so it could not turn the fruit brown.  The we ate them in the afternoon. 
It was delicious.
